Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 22, 2026
Elori ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Elori. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, and its associated subdomains (collectively, our "Service") alongside our application, Elori. By accessing or using our Service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide to Us
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:
- Contact us for support or with questions.
- Provide feedback or review our App.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including the hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Diagnostics and Crash Data: We use Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, to help us understand app crashes, performance issues, and stability problems. Crash reports may include device and operating system information, app version, timestamps, crash traces, diagnostic identifiers, and related technical data needed to diagnose the issue.
- Usage and App State Data: We may collect limited information about app activity and app state needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
C. Content, Templates, and Firebase Services
Elori uses Firebase and Google Cloud services to deliver and operate parts of the App. This includes Firestore-backed configuration or content records and Firebase Storage or Google Cloud Storage-backed assets such as templates, examples, images, or other app content made available inside Elori. These services may process technical request information, device or app identifiers, timestamps, IP address, and content-delivery metadata as needed to provide the requested content and keep the App working reliably.
D. Local Caching and UserDefaults
Elori stores some information locally on your device using app storage, caches, and Apple UserDefaults. This may include preferences, onboarding state, entitlement or purchase state, recently loaded content metadata, cached assets, and settings that help the App remember your choices and work faster. Local data remains on your device unless removed by you, cleared by iOS, or deleted when you uninstall the App.
E. Photo Library Access and Export
To provide the core functionality of the App (editing photos and creating carousels), Elori may request access to selected photos and permission to save or export finished images to your device's photo library.
- Local Processing: We prioritize your privacy. All photo processing and editing are designed to be performed locally on your device. We do not use your personal photos to train models, and we do not view your photo library.
- Export Permission: If you choose to save or export a creation, iOS may ask for permission to add the exported image to your photo library. You can revoke photo permissions at any time in your device settings, though this may limit importing or exporting functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our App.
- Improve, personalize, and expand our App.
- Understand and analyze how you use our App.
- Process your subscription transactions (managed via Apple App Store).
- Deliver app content, templates, configuration, and related assets.
- Diagnose crashes, errors, and performance issues.
- Find and prevent fraud.
- Respond to your comments, questions, and provide customer service.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Our App offers paid subscription plans and a lifetime one-time purchase through Apple's in-app purchase system. Current StoreKit offerings may include a weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial followed by weekly renewal, a yearly auto-renewing subscription, and a lifetime one-time purchase.
- Apple App Store: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Apple, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers to operate, deliver, diagnose, and improve the Service. These providers may process information for us only as needed to provide their services.
- Firebase and Google services, including Firebase Crashlytics, Firestore, and Firebase Storage or Google Cloud Storage, for diagnostics, app configuration, database-backed content, and content delivery.
- Apple App Store and StoreKit for purchases, subscriptions, trials, receipts, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
5. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the App, maintain content delivery, diagnose crashes, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Crash and diagnostic information is kept only as long as needed for reliability, security, and support. Firebase-hosted app content and related service logs may be retained according to our operational needs and Google Firebase retention practices. Local caches and UserDefaults remain on your device until cleared by the App, iOS, or you.
You may request deletion of personal information we control by contacting us at tryelori.com@gmail.com. Because Elori does not require an account, we may need information from you to locate records associated with your request. Purchases, subscriptions, refunds, cancellation records, and billing history are managed by Apple and may need to be handled through your Apple ID or Apple Support.
6. Your Choices
- You can manage photo library permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can clear locally stored app data by deleting the App from your device.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we control.
7. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
